On December 6th, 2022, the compassionate office staff of Stu Davidson & Sons embarked on a heart warming mission to spread joy at Inn Safe Hands Children’s Home. Armed with Santa Shoe Boxes filled with love and essentials, the team delivered smiles and warmth to the children residing there.

This act of kindness was not an isolated event but rather a continuation of Stu Davidson & Sons’ commitment to making a positive impact in their community. Previously, the team had dedicated their time and efforts during Mandela Day, spending 60 meaningful minutes at Inn Safe Hands. Inspired by the experience and deeply moved by the home’s mission, values, and goals, they were eager to extend their support further.

On July 18th, 2023, Stu Davidson & Sons embarked on a heartfelt mission to spread love and nourishment in honor of Madiba Day. Partnering with Love Story PE, a renowned charity organization, Stu Davidson & Sons celebrated this special day by giving back to the community in a meaningful way.

Together, the team worked tirelessly to prepare “Love Sandwiches,” carefully crafting them with peanut butter and packing them with care. Their goal was simple yet profound: to bring smiles and nourishment to Early Learning Centers across Port Elizabeth.

Driven by a shared commitment to making a difference, one sandwich at a time, Stu Davidson & Sons poured their hearts into this initiative. They understood the importance of honouring Nelson Mandela’s legacy by embodying the values of compassion, generosity, and service to others.


Stu Davidson & Sons: Celebrating Women’s Month with Purpose

In 2023, Stu Davidson & Sons joined hands with The Red Movement to mark Women’s Month with a meaningful act of generosity. Together, they embarked on a mission to make a tangible difference in the lives of young girls by donating 250 period cups.

The recipients of this donation were the girls at Thornhill Combined School, as well as another school chosen with care. Stu Davidson & Sons recognised the importance of supporting menstrual health and empowering girls to manage their periods with dignity and confidence.

Through their partnership with The Red Movement, Stu Davidson & Sons aimed to break down barriers and stigma surrounding menstruation while promoting access to essential menstrual hygiene products. They believed that every girl deserves the right to manage her period safely and hygienically, regardless of her circumstances.

On February 23rd, Stu Davidson & Sons had the privilege of participating in a truly special event at the Aurora Special Care Centre. As part of Aurora’s Construction Week, the company brought along their grader for the occasion, allowing the attendees to explore and view the machinery up close.

Witnessing the joy and excitement on the faces of both the children and adults at the centre was an incredibly touching experience for everyone involved. It was a moment filled with warmth and genuine happiness, as Stu Davidson & Sons had the opportunity to bring a bit of delight into the lives of those at Aurora.

With determination, Stu Davidson & Sons cleared the way for safety by opening up crucial fire breaks and restoring access to roads. The swift and decisive actions played a crucial role in safeguarding the sanctuary and its inhabitants from the encroaching flames.

Stu Davidson & Sons recently made a contribution to the Protea House of Safety and Protea Primary School. Partnering with Lazy Cutters Grass Service, they donated 30 cubes of topsoil to enhance the sports field, benefiting both the students and residents alike.

By filling divots and levelling the sports field, they aimed to create a safer and more enjoyable space for recreational activities and sporting events.
