Patrick Davidson
Director
Having grown up with a father and older brother in the construction industry, Patrick has always been involved with our company and officially joined Stu Davidson & Sons in 2000. He started out working as an assistant mechanic in our workshop before becoming an operational trainee, learning and gaining the necessary knowledge and skills of the day-to day operations which would see him become an operations manager in 2014. As an operations manager, Patrick managed sites and clients to ensure the effective and efficient completion of projects, while ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed and complied with. In the beginning of 2020, he was appointed as a director of Stu Davidson & Sons. Patrick now monitors and ensures our strategic objectives and goals are being achieved, and makes calculated adjustments to these objectives and goals where necessary.

Nicholas Davidson
Director
Born in South Yorkshire, England, Nick moved to Port Elizabeth, South Africa with his family in 1984. From the age of 8 Nick was involved in the family business - from TLB’s to tracked excavators through to 20m3 semi-tippers and low beds, Nick would grease, load, manoeuvre the machinery around the yard and do what was required from him to assist with the success of the business. By the age of 13 Nick was fully converse in operating all the machinery in the fleet. At 16 years old he was in the workshop tending to all day-to-day maintenance and when required stripping the machinery where an overhaul/large breakdown was required. Call outs for mechanical assistance or where a machine needed moving/operating were commonplace between his hours in the workshop. Nick’s dedicated commitment to the Family business as a youngster, now sees him as a director in the family business. Nick’s unfounded knowledge of machinery both operationally and mechanically and his 40 years experience within the Plant Hire/Construction sector secures his business acumen to continue with the success of the business.
